+ Ahh ~ Stephanie Meyer has started her "Quote of the Day" for "Breaking Dwan" ~ only 20 days left til the book release. I remember the Eclipse Quotes of the Day nearly made me crazy, wanting to read the quotes, not knowing how they fit into the plot, coming up with random ideas ~ And I'm still going to follow it this time.
As for the film, I didn't know Rachelle Lefevre was going to be playing vampiress Victoria until I checked out the Entertainment Weekly article. I really like her as an actress and it's going to be great seeing her on the big screen. Looking the Entertainment Weekly shoots, Bella (Kristen Stewart) looks even more vampire-esque than Victoria - Rachelle actually seems more like a Bella to me at this moment (apart from the age factor) with the slightly lighter make-up. I am still not getting the feel for Kristen as Bella - argh, it's just not sitting well with me. I'm trying not to be too negative about this - because maybe once I see the film I hope I'll change my mind. Especially if there's going to be more sequel films. And Robert Pattinson looks too pale, even more pale than a vampire should look, just compare him to James. See what I mean (click for the bigger image):

+ This is more for the Europeans to consider. This is a plan to try and tackle illegal downloading. Personally I'm too worried because whenever the European government (espec. UK) comes up wth plans, it takes them years to put into place. I was actually wondering how they scans would be done, how it's able to detect illegal downloads? Not to mention the effect it could have on already long waiting times, waiting lines of people and the long list of other checks they now have. Just a small article in the newspaper today:
Laptop, iPhones, iPods could be screened at airports for illegal music and film downloads, under plans to clamp download on piracy. The strict measures - being discussed by G8 government this week - have sparked fears that indivduals who have illegally download items on their iPod or laptop could be punished if found by Customs. The European Parliment hopes to hold internet service providers liable.

+ Oh yeah. I will doing a friends-cut in the next week. I know I've been a bad friend so I'm actually finding it hard to catch up with everyone. It's already hard to catch up on downloads and fandom with the time I spend away from the computer. I will cutting those who I've never spoken to ~ or haven't in maybe.. 6 or so months. I know a few people are on hiatus and I think I remember the majority of you. If I do end up cutting you but you would still want a go at trying to be friends just leave a comment and I'll add you back.
+ And a new layout, again. This time thanks to
